A tour of the (women’s) communal onsen hot springs furo (bath) (大浴場 – Daiyokujo) at Atamiso (熱海荘), a boutique luxury ryokan in Koriyama, Fukushima (福島県郡山市) in the Tohoku region of Japan. As there were only two groups of guests staying at Atamiso, we were allowed to use the women’s bath as our own private bath (貸切露天風呂) during our time there. The outdoor open-air Rotenburo Onsen bath (露天風呂) faced the Gohyakugawa River (五百川), offering a gorgeous view of nature all around.
