  1. Thanks for the tips! I'm going on my first cruise with Royal Caribbean in two weeks. I prepaid gratuities so I am puzzled about when to tip on top of that, and how much. Wish you could expand on that more.

  2. I usually just chuck people's stuff off the chair onto a bearby one and sit down. When they come back i'll claim there was nothing on it. LOL. Simple.

  3. Never heard to not reuse your plate lol esp with nature being in shambles.. no need to keep getting new plateds and stacking up the pointless pile of used proper plating lol… idk Just never have heard of that. Certainly start at the beginning of the line, though when headed back.
News to me, tho! (new plates)
Also, never have been on a cruise, work for a port lol.

  4. yet if you grab the tongs that everyone else has grabbed, are you not leaving your germs and touching the germs the others have left on the tongs??

  5. We’ve been onto half a dozen Royal Caribbean or so over the years … the only thing we never liked … preset dinner time either 6 or 830pm .. and preset table mates .. don’t know if this is still practiced currently

  6. Please and thank you go a long way. As does holding a door open or saying excuse me.

  7. I’m sorry, but if there are two people in a buffet station getting their food and what I want is not near them, I’m not gonna wait on the end for them to finish piling stuff on. I’m gonna get in, get my stuff, be done before they’re done with what they’re doing.

  8. I just came back from a cruise two days ago and everyone still does the chair hog and cut the buffet line. With the chair’s just take the trowel off and say if someone comes over what trowel.

  9. Tipping isn’t compulsory on a Royal Caribbean cruise, you can remove auto gratuities. The very nature of a tip is for amazing service, not to make up a companies salaries to their employees. When did you last tip your flight attendants, never, as they are paid correctly by the airline. Same thing should be the same with the cruise line. ONLY TIP IF YOU WANT TO, AND DONT LISTEN TO THIS RUBBISH FROM vLOGGERS.

  10. If everyone on the cruise refused to pay gratuities, then cruiselines would have to pay their staff appropriately. It would also cause cruiselines to conduct performance reviews with their staff and reward good performance to ensure high customer satisfaction. Otherwise, the cruiselines are trending towards being fully a la carte.

  11. Get as much food as possible onto a plate, then don't eat it….. Push the shut door button before anyone can get in…. Keep the best pool chairs with medical bandages unraveled all over it.

  12. The no cursing comment is such a great callout. There’s just no need and it’s so rude. The same can be said for vulgarities in music without headphones
