I cannot take stinky tofu either ….same as durian I can't take it 😂
lol, its okay you can say it. Stinky tofu smells like sewage, I'm Cantonese and I don't like stinky tofu as well.
Smells like garbage then a cat pissed on it. 🤣 Had me rolling! Great work guys!
Go to Ningxia night market, it is one of the best and most popular in Taipei. If you want chewy bits just say QQ (Taiwanese use QQ for chewy bits). Try some Chua Bing (Taiwanese shaved ice) or the snow ice if you like sweet things they are both mega!
Stinky tofu is what I expect 💩 to taste like. Easily one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten.
very good video
That's what i call taking one for the team.. Kinda like durian fruit. I'm surrounded by it everyday. I don't hate the smell at all. I still haven't tried it yet. 😜
He is so nice, not, very very nice man.
He know how .
She is vip.
I think that is his something
I wonder whats that.
If i know that, my girl is not bad.
My girl would be not bad girl.
Anyway, so, not, very very goood man. Thank u !
Respect for you guys that you dare to try the stinky tofu cuz I wouldn’t dare to try it 😅
😎❤️🇹🇼‼️
I went here in December, wasn’t as adventurous with food. Also check out the National Palace Museum if your still there…
大部分外國人第一次不習慣吃 stinky tofu, but 當你多吃幾次之後,你會上癮,甚至愛上它。
那杯 lemon & jelly drink, the jelly is called "aiyu"(愛玉). Aiyu(愛玉) could only grow in Taiwan in the world. That's a very nutritious and tasty fruit.
Welcome to Taiwan, and I believe you would love her.
I really want to go to Taipei, after this video, I can’t wait!
You planning on coming to Hong Kong now it’s open?
Visit Yangmingshan National Park. Check out the fumeroles at Xiaoyoukeng.
Also Nantou Sun Moon Lake is gorgeous, rent bikes & bike around the lake!!
You two are so much braver than I am. I have been near stinky tofu a number of times and didn't dare to try it. Just the smell! At least you did! Kudos for that. Your faces after taking that first bite were priceless. My respect for you two has skyrocketed ever since. And to a level beyond anything at all.
Next steps I would like to suggest: oyster omelet at Shilin night market and soup dumplings at Din Tai Fung. Both dishes are out of this world and definitely on the other end of the spectrum compared to your tofu adventure. Not to mention the beef noodle soup and milk boba tea. Maybe some pineapple cake for dessert?
Taiwan has so much great food on offer. You could (and should) spend a lot more time on this island and head south. Again some great night markets. Food that has amazed the people at Michelin at night market stalls so much they gave the their acknowledgements. Where else in the world can you get this quality food at such affordable prices? 😛🤑😇
Well, a highly entertaining video again! In 3 months time I will be in Taiwan again and sampling the local cuisine. You can't imagine how much I am looking forward to follow in your footsteps on that terrific island. ⛩⛩⛩🏯🏯
Maybe we must start a crowdfunding action in order to keep you there a little longer?

愛玉是台灣特有,它是天然的果凍,是由天然植物的種子“洗”出來的。
It's funny watching you two react to stinky tofu haha! Hope you two enjoy your trip in Taiwan. By the way, I love stinky tofu especially the smelly ones.
Omg the tofu and your faces 😂😂 but the buns looked really good!
I don't blame you hahaha. When I grew up in Taiwan I did not enjoy stinky tofu either. I think the fried ones are better though. Kinda takes out the smell a little…? but kudos for trying it!
Love your videos!
After this episode, I realized that despite being half Japanese, Tia is by FAR the pickiest eater of all the youtube travel channels. She likes nothing!
I love your background music, such 80’s vibe!😆
It is so interesting. I and my wife was traveling taipei last week and visited this market. I saw both of you in the pepper bun store. We stand right behind Tina on that store. I found my wife and myself in your video. Thanks and hope to have lots of fun.
In Taiwanese sausage usually tend to be pork.
