Love u bro
This all looks amazing
Another great video Quinlan! Thanks for all the beautiful footage this past year. Wishing you at least another 20K subscribers in 2022! 🙂
Incredibly beautiful snow scenes! Thank you so much for these vicarious hikes!
Looks so nice. I actually found a bunch of winter clothes I bought at Uniqlo over the years (we were doing first aid training in weather-advisory-level rain that didn't turn out to be too bad) so I should probably put it all back on and head for the mountain this year.
Great views! Thank you 👍
Hell ya ! Cool locations 🏔
Can’t wait to visit Tohoku!
💗 Loved the video. Please do another vegetable hunt video. Do they gather things in winter?
Amazing video, Quinlan!! So gorgeous there
That was so good! Nanataki Falls was really cool looking! What month does that completely freeze? Thanks for the beautiful scenery video. :-).
Thank you for another helpful video, Quinlan! My brother, who has gone through a life change, has planned a trip to Japan, and so I have shared your channel with him, along with Sharla’s and Norm’s. I’m very appreciative of you guys! 🙏🏻
Great overview, Quinlan!
Another awesome video! Thank you for making one on hikes for those of us novices or people from the southwest US who have never hiked in snow!!!
Watching scenes from a movie set in the 1800s, between having endless hours of
'Flying over USA' etc. drone footage on the TV, it hit me how knowing what things looked like from above could be a challenging and rare, even impossible thing, and now look at us.. Your drone clips are an insane treasure. As are the hiking ones. Always repeating myself how stunning and all, but yeah. ^^
Hope you have an amazing winter!
I have done a few of these already, all were excellent. This year I have to get to the snow monsters!!
I think the frozen waterfall is particularly great, simply because it's just so darn easy. It's literally just an hour of easy level walking along a well worn trail and the reward at the end is so worth it! Plus if you bring a plastic mat to sit on it's a surprisingly good spot for a snow picnic on a nice day.
Gunna get myself in better shape and head over there one day. I hope you’ll still be a guide by then!
Danke!
Aaaahhhhh 😻 I hope you go to Nanataki this winter . If so cant wait for a video
Oh man, so many glorious sights! If there's a playlist, I think I'll want to rewatch all your winter hiking videos one after the other this Christmas break 🙂
Ooh thank you so much for this video! We really want to try winter hiking this season (love hiking in general but never used snow shoes 😅) so super grateful for this list of easy hikes. Also your drone shots are absolutely beautiful!
I'm at the Nanataki Falls level, not the people tend to die there level lol. As always Quinlan, absolutely love the winter content. It just puts me in a calm, happy mood. Thanks for taking us there.
Hi, Quinlan! I just wanted to say that your videos are really good. I like how you try to make them immersive, how you let the location be the protagonist, instead of a fast/"clever" editing or some "punchy" music. I don't know how much work you put on them, but it certainly looks like a lot. Some of the watching experiences in this channel have been quite unique for me. Thank you for doing this.
This cures a bit my desperation for snow at christmas time, because i didn't got it here.
Now i want to come to japan in winter instead of the fall…
HI Quinlan, love your videos and your personality, you are very kind person.I realized that you live in Iwate prefecture 🙂 that's where my favourite Yuru chara comming from,Takata no Yumechan 🙂 🙂
Is there a specific website you use for japanese weather data?
I am trying to plan out some longer northern trips and websites tend to differ with historical averages/high/lows, etc.
Love the videos!
Your presence is so relaxing! Thank you for sharing these hiking ideas!
are there joiner hikes?
