Since no one else was riding the Carolina Cyclone, we took another ride on it when we came back into the station!

    I grew up riding that .luv it .If I went back now that and the gold rush would for real be my speed. They added the er to it since I was there I do believe. Fury dosnt look that bad maybe .but since they have in this day .couldn't pay me enough nooo !!I'm very bitter and so is alot of others about thunder road. It really was Carowinds landmark .You defintly couldn't miss it .Wow the things that have changed since I was a kid.

    I'd ride it as long as they'd let me stay on. I think my record for consecutive rides on one coaster without getting off was seven at Kentucky Kingdom a number of years ago.

    I've ridden the Corkscrew at Cedar Point 40x in a row, very back of the train in 1997. It was a ghost park that day and a friend I knew who worked at the park wanted to see how long I could go around. The first 3 cars at that time were the only cars boarding. Other park guest asked the ride op how come I was able to ride in the last car, my friend just told them I was an off duty employee. It was towards the end of the day, and rode the Coaster up until closing. It was AWESOME!!!!
