Mount Fuji, 5th Station, Japan

Mount Fuji, altitude 3776m, is considered one of Japan’s Holy Mountains. The 5th Station at 2300m is the highest street access with shops etc before the final ascent to the peak, about 4hours from here. We made a brief stop here on my tour of this Volcanic region of Japan.
