On our last day of our Ishikawa road trip we headed to the most northern bit of the prefecture, found some food and ate it, and found some places we shouldn’t go and went!

Love this! And Eric, cinnamon is awesome in curry, just don't go too heavy with it or it gets a little weird. A little nutmeg with it is pretty nice too but it's really just whatever works for you. I kinda like the short and squat little lighthouse, it reminds me of me except i don't have cool things at the top. Oh, and nice cloud knowledge at the end there, Kyde! Love the Gagarin (I think, I should really be more sure) shirt too, Eric! Looking forward to the next adventure, thanks for taking us along for this one!
Eric who are some of your favorite artists on the Sub Pop roster?
19:25 That's a wheel of brie.
You guys are the best. Thanks for sharing your quality videos.
I've been following on Insta and waiting patiently for this great video. A refreshing break from all the politics. Thank you!
i can never get over how freaking cute you guys are!!!!!3 you seem to just keep having ever more fun, so very happy for you and pleased you share your adventures, your videos are always so cheerful and fun for everyone to watch, and we really appreciate that!!!!!)
As always the best of the best about Japan!
Great travel vlog you guys! I really enjoyed this. It makes me want to travel more.
Eric killed it with the joke 'bout the island
im thinking there may have been some liquor in those lil potatoes? 😛
Nice !! loving the long videos !! .. is this shot with the new camera ?
We live in Fukui and spent a few days in Noto Hanto staying in ryokan throughout the area…My Japanese wife, loves onsen. It was so lovely. My better half and I really enjoyed your video….as we always do! Ama ebi is so good in this area – – maybe Fukui amoeba is better – it is a Hokuriku thing,,,,, Glad to see that you enjoyed my adopted home….As a Welshman living in Fukui….It makes me feel good!! Thank you as always. We enjoy your videos!!
Hey! Another great travel vlog! Like I was visiting those places with you!
"I had a Nintendo. My parents loved me…" LOL -E didn't play with kitchen sets….HAHA… Keep it up! Cheers!
in response to Kyde on her shrimp comment –
come to Vietnam where they love to eat shrimp with the shell on 🙂 but yeah I hear ya!
🤣 Eric's accidental urbex adventure
Resturant you’re in, I can tell it’s not up to par, you’re better off seeking out places without using Google. The shrimp look like they came from the freezer or I can! Visually I can tell it’s also very mediocre and probably going to cost you $$ lol
Hope you don’t get a bellyache
The best beef in the world is like butter, At any size and especially in Japan. The restaurant you’re in is empty that’s a big sign and it really probably doesn’t have anything to do with corona virus
I wish you guys would visit some five star restaurants ,Considering you are in Japan and they have some of the best food and food experiences.
But nothing like good old street food with a line of residence waiting to eat that’s assigned the place is delicious. Still love everything you guys do, wish you were a little less frugal when it comes to food. LOL
Awesome as usual 🥰
It was a beautiful trip :-). I enjoy sea side – am so sorry your back is bothering you. I live with chronic back pain from deterioration of the spine. So I feel your discomfort, please try to get some therapy to strengthen your back muscles. And there are dietary changes to check into to avoid acids and other foods that irritate and aggrivate inflamation. I personally don't like surgery options because people rarely tell me a success story lol. I have heard interesting treatments chiropractic and massage therapies from Japan that I would check into. Good luck! Your trek thru the earth quake area although very dangerous was awesome. So glad you survived that without crisis or injury and shared the adventure. Reminded me of your world trip videos and the risks you took then. Thanks for taking me along. Take care and know your videos allow me to see things I physically could not do.
Im a patreon again! I finally got hold of some money ( I slayed a couple of dragons ). I'm happy you guys got a new camera! Best vlog travel channel on youtube!
I put cinnamon on my crack herion and bullets ….its fab
Japan: Where people peel grapes but eat shrimp with the shell.
Hey! Random question guy here, I hope you don't mind!
Do you know much about or are interested in Japanese Soccer? I'm a big soccer fan and would love to see some stuff about the J1 league.
I love watching your adventures. Thank you for sharing them with us.
In Slovene we say polotok for peninsula and it also mean half island. Pol(half) otok (island).
I’m a tonkotsu > miso guy myself
Hi, this is totally random, but I just wanted to bring your attention to this — check this out at 1:39

Is the rest of the light house under ground? Love Godzilla!

The potato candy is totally an Irish thing too! Look up Irish potato candy… same thing
Eric's look @42:08 🙂
神様の家をノックするのはやめてください。それはとても失礼な行為です。
I love the decrepit structure (tunnel). there is a sense of mystery and I enjoyed it. 34:54 Wow, I'm very impressed by how much Eric can read Kanji. 安倍 昭恵、年会費。Japanese grammar is very easy (no article, no case, no gender in noun, only 2 tense (English has >10), no strict word order, few conjugation etc), but memorizing Kanji is very very difficult. I believe he can read >1000 Kanji. A little surprised by that Eric didn't know 小泉純一郎 since he is the most popular PM of the past 30 years, but probably politics becomes more interesting when you get older.
5:08 Just to correct one thing. "Koiji" 恋路 station was a real station of the Noto 能登 Railroad which was abolished in 2005. Amazing how quickly they removed 99% of railroad. Koiji station still remains because it was a moderately famous station (Koiji means romantic path) based on the old Rome-Juliet-like local legend, and young couple tourists still come to visit it. But I appreciate that you introduce a place no foreigner visits.
Comment for the bell
Kyde, you are a true vulgarian.
the trek through the no sign area was awesome.
How did I miss this when it came out?!
Loved this series on the Fukui and Ishikawa prefectures! I'm a bit behind but slowly catching up on your Japan videos which is a pleasure (i'm dreading the moment i'll have watched the last one and will have to wait 😉
Visited Noto Hanto in 2017 and did a "decorate your own chopsticks" workshop in Wajima which was really neat. Car on the beach, the rice patties and the bridge displaying the number of cars each day are good memories…
Looking forward to your Kanazawa video when you go back. Stayed for one day and night, we really enjoyed it. If you or anyone are interested, west of the city near Kaga, there is the Nippon Origami Museum that also has permanent displays at one of the Tokyo airports if i remember correctly. Should be reachable from Kanazawa by train i guess but we hit it up with our car on the way to Kyoto. We're not hardcore into origami but enjoy it and we were amazed by the place.
Eric, I've had Sake, I must answer your question whether the rocks are getting lower. The answer is Maybe. Sorry, I had to.
