Hashima is an island located in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture (formerly Takashima Town, Nishisonogi County). Commonly known as Gunkanjima.
From the Meiji period to the Showa period, it prospered as an undersea coal mine, and in the 1960s, Japan’s first reinforced concrete high-rise housing complex was built, boasting a population density higher than that of Tokyo. The island has been uninhabited since the mines closed in 1974 and the islanders left.
端島（はしま）は、長崎県長崎市（旧：西彼杵郡高島町）にある島です。通称は軍艦島。
明治から昭和にかけて海底炭鉱で栄え、1960年代には日本初の鉄筋コンクリート造高層団地が建設されるなど、東京を上回る人口密度を誇っていました。 1974 年に鉱山が閉鎖され、島民が島を離れて以来、無人島となっています。
羽岛是位于长崎县长崎市（原西园木郡高岛町）的岛屿。俗称军舰岛。
从明治时代到昭和时代，它作为海底煤矿繁荣起来，1960 年代建造了日本第一座钢筋混凝土高层住宅区，人口密度高于东京。自 1974 年矿山关闭和岛民离开以来，该岛一直无人居住。
