Thanks so much! You guys are living my dreams. Good luck and be safe!
Good luck to you both. Love the outfits.😎
Sorry to ask a question after a question answering session but I was wondering about petrol prices and accessibility as you have traveled/sailed?
So enjoy watching your triumphs! Thanks for sharing!
If you were able to go to Australia, would you be staying on the boat or living with Kieran’s family. Would that make any difference for Isabelle’s stay during covid?
You have to be a very rich celebrity to get an exemption at the moment and have a covid passport which is up and coming, maybe in the new year you will be ok, it`s still like a prison right now with exemptions being lifted in mid October for the fully vaccinated, cheers beautiful people. PS I like you guys to do a circumnavigation of Australia.
es ist sehr angenehm euch zuzusehen wie ihr euer leben genießt und meistert während dieser turbulenten zeit
The sea , the wide open space , the peace of mind ! It's the life to have ! Shows hard work pays off !
You folks are to cool. Watching from Northern calif
If all the fresh veg is so expensive in the atolls why don't any of the locals grow some themselves? Surely it can't be that difficult to grow a few oranges and apples as a hobby.
Really too bad about those current Australian rules but Isabelle is right, there is so much for you to explore. Selfishly looking forward to experiencing those adventures with you! ⛵️
Australia is lost, my friend. Sorry!
What's depressing is the huge number of Australians that are OK with their government going full totalitarian. I guess we now know for sure how Germans went from Goethe to Hitler…
Like#191 I think that Captain 👩✈️ Flaco should learn to be a hunter of the sea, and mamasita to eat everything available. This would make it easier, having mental blockades is bad and a poison ☠️ to our world. Need to achieve sustainability and open mindness. Also the truth is that you’re a mamasita mermaid 🧜♀️ and have Capt Flaco in a spell. Love from Antigua Guatemala 🇬🇹 OsoYolo.
excellent thanks guys
I am sorry for you folk and the Australian immigration BS. I have experienced something similar. Good video, thanks.
How are you doing? My uncle recently sailed from uk to carribean.
stay out of Australia.
Marry that girl, solve your Australian paperwork problem and a whole bunch of other headaches.
👍😎👍
Have you considered cross promoting with other successful Youtubers? I imagine there are many who would love to sail with you.
You guys are freaking amazing and love following along on the adventures…My brother in law is getting into sailing and it's impressive to hear how much really goes into it just the basics of the hobby no less what you both have executed. My wife and I are land dwellers but have been enjoying getting out and exploring with our travel trailer. Much love from Northern California!
NOT IN A DE FACTO RELATIONSHIP? Hang on, if you two have been living together for 6 months or more then Centrelink would be saying you're in a De Facto relationship. And so would the law applying to other matters (e.g. family court, divorce court, superannuation in the event of death, etc). So I wonder who on Earth is interpreting the rules to reject Isabelle's application?
And LOL at Isabelle's dad: "Oh, so you're still enjoying sailing?" 😀
Good idea guys…don't go to Australia …. it's crazy there from what I gather from other channels…wait for the virus thing to die down…love the videos from Polynesia anyway…beautiful place from the videos…love em…Fabulous closing sequence..
I subscribe to your channel and really enjoy it.I hope this gets resolved and you continue to make videos!!
I love the "out takes" at the end, always funny to see a few things cut out of the finished video.
Sailing is easy to learn, cruising is much more involved and takes a long time to get comfortable.
Back in the dark ages (before YouTube) we read books written by world cruisers to learn anchoring, heavy weather sailing, customs requirements, boat maintenance, how to handle emergencies like running aground, rigging failures, engine failures, understanding weather patterns, and so much more. We kept the books on board to review often in new situations.
I don't remember any of the current cruisers I follow on YT mention learning from books as they cruise, and some show a complete lack of knowledge as the struggle with unknown situations that they should have read about and prepared for. Docking, anchoring, reefing…
There are many excellent cruising authors like the Jimmy Cornell, Hal Roth, Nigel Calder, Peter Bruce, John Rousmaniere, Chapman, Michelle Segrest, the Pardey's, the Hiscocks, and so many more. There are so many sailing books but not all teach new cruisers what they need to know. Yes, many learn while doing it but they are generally the ones who drag anchors, lose the mast, blow out sails, damage their own boat and others too.
Sail on guys, we love you!
Hey hey, love your way and what you have to say. Go Merewether ⛵️
Nice, getting to know both of you more with these Q&A. THANK'S for green's maybe grow green sprouts?
Australian immigration is hopeless. I’m an Aussie working in Indonesia for a long time and to to get a visa for my Indonesian wife took about 18 months. That was for just a temporary residency visa to come and go freely. After 2 years they cancelled it and said she must live in Aus for a minimum of 9mths in every 2 year period, while I stay in Indonesia. So don’t bother with that. You can just get a tourist visa unless you decide to stay permanently. Loving the Q & A.
Please can give details about the song used for this video please. I find it just superb. Many thanks and very good sail
What’s your technique for catching rain water?
Ive been watching many sailing vloggers over the past year and you guys are now number one for me. You do a great job and I learn alot. I have just started a chanel 'Sailing La Vida with Skeet' as I bought a boat in April which is located in Malaysia. I was in New Zealand then but am now in Phuket and have finally got approval to enter Malaysia. Here's a link to my chanel just in case you are interested… https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClKWFJboSa7GdkYsoYwPOZA
