Japan Travel: Spacious Outlet Mall, Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza, Nagano 48 Moopon

Karuizawa, located in Nagano Prefecture, is one of Japan’s famous resort areas. With an abundance of nature, many local Japanese come here to escape the busy city bustle.

Karuizawa has various shopping opportunities. There is the historic Ginza Street modeled after the sophisticated Ginza district of Tokyo. A newer shopping addition is the Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza, an outlet mall. This shopping plaza offers luxury brands, clothes, accessories, sports items and so on. With close to 240 stores, it is truly a shopper’s paradise.

A wide mall with spacious lawns (even a dog run) makes the plaza a fun place to walk around and wander. In addition to the food court, there are restaurants and cafes for visitors to rest in between visiting the various stores.

Closed: there are few unscheduled days the plaza is closed
