I can do interior state room but my family really like the balcony and their happiness is worth it.
I have stayed on RC Interiors, OV and Balcony as they are all Great. I most often settle on OV and spend $$$ elsewhere
You sound like a Valorant YouTuber named urnotjustin
That’s my trip and balcony rom🫣nice
Once you have a balcony you will never get a interior cabin. In all the cruises we’ve taken our very first cruise was a interior room. After that and countless crews later it has always been a balcony. Also, we always try and get a balcony on the back. On Freedom these balconies are HUGE. Almost the size of the room.
We booked RC cruise sept 11th. Yes balcony cabin. We'll love view & fresh air. 😍
Travelled on odessy about 3 weeks ago and had an internal cabin. Although the room was really comfy, being able to see some natural light would have been of benefit as it would have helped regulate my sleep pattern! Especially when time changes were made as we moved from port to port.
Waking up in utter darkness was quite disorientating and just made me want to go back to sleep again.
Well done! Just when I thought I had a good grasp on cruising you seem to enlighten me.
Balcony is must, otherwise its not cruising LOL
Not worth it.. we always book interior.. we’re never in our room other than to sleep.. just not worth the price
Easier to breath
I think another factor is if you are slightly claustrophobic a balcony room would be a better idea. As you can leave the curtains open
What does ocean view outside mean?
I tried Ocean view before and it sucks. You can’t see much as windows always dirty.
My first cruise was an interior room, will never do that again, must have at least a window.
Interior – never! Love balcony but so expensive so usually ocean view then wish I got the balcony. We usually do at least 3 weeks or more
At least with an ocean view you don't have a balcony railing blocking your view.
Balcony is always a must for me, I feel like if I'm spending that much money might as well splurge a bit on that type of room.
For Alaska you should def get a balcony. We didn't get a balcony and my family let me hear it about it lol. All others eh at your discretion and budget.

Just booked a balcony for less than an ocean view. That's a no-brainer!
Price is our #1 factor. On an older ship with less balconies they can be nearly double the price of an ocean view. I'll take the ocean view, especially if it's only $100 more than inside.
Love going with a balcony for the views and the fresh sea air.
To me oceanview make sense. Less time in the room and more out and about enjoying yourselves.
Is this Disney Cruise Line
I only see one king bed for the balcony option. I am assuming that the room has a pullout couch? Thank you.
is the cap included i'm asking for my boyfriend.
We purchased an interior room and managed to get our offer selected for Oceanview Balcony! (We only went with the minimum too) 🎉
I found that Ocean View window to be quite crusty and not very clean. We hardly looked out of it, except when we both got up and were dressed. My vote goes to balcony.
I've had all room types. Give me whatever, as long as I'm on the ship. Interior is not my favorite, but then again, my name is Mike, not Mike Kardashian.
I love a balcony room, but for me it depends on the cruise length and destinations. In some cases, an oceanview is enough, and often not much more than an inner costwise. On a typical 3-4 night cruise an inner is fine, as I tend not so spend a lot of time in my cabin to begin with. I can usually find some spot on deck where I can read or have a drink while looking at the sea. Also, if I have already been to a port than an ocean view is fine and I don't feel like I'm missing anything. On a longer cruise like 7+ days, it's nice to have the balcony just to enjoy the view and fresh air. If I'm sailing with two or three friends or family members than we can split the cost and get a balcony cabin. From personal experience, if you are taking a Panama Canal or Alaskan cruise a balcony is worth the money, as you don't want to miss those views, sitting in your chair and watching things go by.
We are team balcony!
I have a question for you if you have a min. In your video at 7:31 there is a photo of a room with balcony and porthole window with couch and chair. Can you tell me what ship this is? We just did a bid for the ultra spacious ocean view with large balcony on Symphony of the Seas and it shows this image but I cannot find this photo on anything but the Adventure and/or Wonder of the Seas. I think the Royal Up might have the wrong photo for our Symphony bid but no one can answer the question for me lol we are good either way but I don't think this particular room is on the Symphony. Would you happen to know?
Thank you for doing this- heaven forbid the cruise lines would
If I was going only with hubby… Balcony. If I am taking kids, window! My kids would find a way to go swimming.
