I flew on Nepal Airlines A330 from Dubai to Kathmandu as the beginning of my flying adventure in the Himalayas.
I met Captain Vijay Lama onboard, he is a local celebrity and YouTuber in Nepal. The flight time to Kathmandu was 4 hours across the Indian subcontinent. Shortly after takeoff, a beautiful sunrise appeared as we fly to the East. Nepal Airlines crew showed me their uniform and food offering on the flight.
The weather was good enroute. Before landing, many tall mountains appeared on the horizon. 8 of the world’s top 10 highest peaks are in Nepal. We can see Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Fishtail, Manaslu, and many tall mountain peaks. The landing into Kathmandu is very exciting with mountains and high terrain around. Watch the final approach from the cockpit.
Next week, I will share my flying experience to Mount Everest by helicopter. This is a once-a-lifetime experience.

Just a side note, because you "managed" to interview the Pilot inside the Cockpit, there was a disciplinary action against him !!! I don't know the severity of the punishment. This ALSO is Nepal, bro !!! Hmmm…..having see your numerous videos, I don't think you "jeopardized" someone's career, albeit partially. But, the red tape here is, at time, too much. Also, any updates ?

Hi Sam, I would like to recommend China Southern airlines to you. I have flown on it a couple of years ago on their a321 neo from Beijing to Ho Chi Min City in their economy class and had a good experience. So I was thinking of recommending it to you. Hope you can make this video in the future after China’s COVID restrictions are lighter.

Sooner or later the FAA will be knocking on your door as passengers are not allowed in the cockpit, it is against Federal Aviation Regulations. This uninformed pilot too could lose his commercial license because of you the "YouTuber". LOL
