This week, I took a flight to Busan, South Korea and visited Korean Air Aerospace tech center to see how they paint a Korean Air B747-8. Korean Air is the only airline that manufactures Boeing and Airbus parts. I discover behind the scenes how the B787 wingtip, tail cone, flap support fairing and A320 sharklet are made there.
Next, I visited Korean Air cargo at Incheon. Korean Air has a huge cargo operation that shines during COVID. I got onboard a B777-300/ER Passenger Freighter “Preighter” to discover the unique cargo operation.
Last, I visited the Korean Air catering center to see how they prepare airplane food. I was shown the popular traditional Korean Bibimbap and Mukbap dish.

I hope you had a excellent time in Korea!
Sam, what about Uzbekistan Airways ? Can’t wait to see your opinion on that airline.
Great behind the scenes look at operations at Korean Air!
gotta love the "Preighter"
Love how Korean air takes extra effort on being sanitary with prepping food. This is one major reason our family flies on Korean air.
I paid $8000 for business class.
The food tasted like almost same quality as convenient store!!! After chairman passed away and covid 19 their services going to toilet. Wasted $8000!!
As usual, amazing video Sam. You just need to make a little change on the title from (Preighter) to (freighter).
Greetings from Poland, Sam Chui.
Sams videos has gotten little boring and over the top. I have subscribed to other YouTube air travel channels where the videos are simple, less talk and just enjoying a trip on an airline.
New Korean Air food menu is horrible. They should have stuck with the originals.
모든 사람이 이렇게 영어를 잘 하다니…
놀라운데요?
Doing the "Chocolate/Sharklet" thing and making the female employee flap her arms made me cringe. Don't know what his intentions were but if I were in that lady's shoes I wouldn't have felt good about it. The sad thing is she probably can't take it up with management, because from the looks of it the whole thing may have been an event planned and arranged by the airline's PR team with blessing from top management,
Also, assuming that this trip was arranged and paid for by the airline, the least he could do was do his homework before going to Gimhae. He couldn't tell the difference between a 787 wingtip and a 737Max winglet, didn't know what a flap track pairing was, couldn't identify a A330neo winglet and told his viewers that he didn't know that the airline manufactured those. It's like Porsche hired a spokesperson to advertise their cars and that spokesperson couldn't tell the difference between the Porsche car models and then said "I didn't know Porsche made cars" during a broadcast.
I live in Seoul. The Seoul Bus Terminal looks like an airport…
The Incheon airport looks like a space port.
Yeh, right 👍 😊
I wish I could something like this at my local airport if Dulles. It would be so cool to have a day to just explore and see how everything operates on the ground.
Sam, may you try fly with Starlux airline in the future👍
Great vlog Sam…. we are flying Manchester UK to Bali which airline and route do you prefer… anybody is welcome to help me with this.

KAL is number in one thing, always. Their Flight attendants. they are all so beautiful!
He said Bucheon or Busan? Im confused
Korean Air had an incident two months ago, and suddenly they hired you to make a video about them. 🥴
Cool Video Though
Sam should do Philippines airlines
PEPSI Air
It was so awesome to see the Preighter. I did not know that it even existed. Thanks Sam and Korean Air.
@15:55, Korean Air provides the bibimbap down to economy class but the big bowl ones are only for business and first class.
From my personal experience, the best meals served by Korean Air are usually on the cargo flights. It’s their way of showing their appreciation to the pilots enduring hours without any cabin services. I spent 3 wonderful years with them and it was one of the best time of my life.
Wow very interesting to hear Korea Air builds parts for Boeing aircraft I've never heard that before
대한민국 ㅡ 2022 world cup

Good morning. Greetings from Jundiaí-Brazil.
Do you believe that chances are Boeing will resume the production of 747 in the future ? Due to the end of Covid-19 pandemic , the heavy load goods sales, inbound logistics, outbound logistics, business trips and touristic trips are on the rise again and it makes me believe that there might be a necessity of reconsidering 747's back in the air.
The breaking news I'd like to hear, listen to and watch is: "Boeing decides to resume the production of 747" This is something I dream about.
747
VIVA 747, The Queen Of Skies. .
Korean Air is one of my favourites, hopefully fly with them again soon. Great video. Cheers

People doesn't know about Korea Air Line in detail.
KAL is major airline with major cargo carrier.
Also high technology about aviation industry that manufacture airplane parts, airplane itself and maintenance business including aerospace area as like rocket satellite.
KAL was part in also airport business how to manage of it.
So KAL was leading company about total aviation industry in Korea but nowadays they focus on airline business and maintenance.
