  1. well we did the E mustard drill and Celebrity beyond November 13. Toni we will find out about the E master drill on the Norwegian breakaway January 29. I really do not hope the NCL is going back to traditional master drills on their ships.

  2. Our turkey (Butterball) 14lbs at approximately $31.00 (4 DAYS AGO) on sale here in the Anchorage Alaska area.

  3. In September I sailed on Silver Sea’s Silver Dawn on a glorious Mediterranean cruise. Smaller ship, very beautiful, great service…
However, out muster drill was in person. The safety video was playing when we entered the room, but still met in person for lecture and life vest demonstration.

  4. Our turkey is 15# and it was costly since it came from a local farm. Supporting the local community.

  5. Well that means there are 2 types of cruise I will not be doing next time:
    1) Cruise in Australia as I hated wearing the mask last year and don't want to do it again except during an unexpected breakout of Covid where it is reasonable.
    2) Sail on NCL as I do not want ever to waste so much time doing the old style muster.

I am not moaning I am just saying I will sail where I can enjoy myself more.

  6. I have 2 Thanksgivings: one at home and one at work (I'm an Activity Director for a 55+ community). My turkey for home is about 12lbs, at work I had THREE 13.8 lb turkeys for 40+ people!

  7. E-muster is the best thing that came out of Covid. How disappointing it would be to “go back to riding horses!”

  8. Living in northeast Tennessee here….turkey price $0.39 per pound with an additional $25 purchase at our local Kroger store.
Cruising out of New Orleans Dec 3….Carnival Valor.

  9. They had to call People to so the traditional muster, too, and everyone had to stand there waiting for them to show up.

  10. For the few passengers that refuse to comply with the e-muster, they should charge them 50/hr. Til they do their muster..It should not be this complicated when it comes to safety..IMO!

  11. Years ago on a NCL muster drill and we stood outside in rows like sardines in the sun. Two people passed out waiting for everyone to get there.

  12. Let's just shut there card down and do like they did when we boarded in Seattle for the Arrive Canada app if you didn't have it completed you would have step aside until it was completed while the rest of us passed you.

  13. Have cruised twice from Dubai, not impressed at all by this City. It's all smoke and mirrors to me.

  14. just got off mardi gras of course i did e muster, simple, then for the next hour heard the announcement that there were roughly 200 people who needed to complete the e muster. they know where they are and they should find them, do their muster drill and they then can pay a fine or stay in their room for 24 hours, i know these people they should just be put off the ship before it sails

  15. Last week on Carnival Glory we did e muster and just reported to our muster station to see where it was and get our names checked off.

  16. Our turkey was 15+ lbs. and it was free thanks to Costco, where their employees (my wife) get a free turkey as an employee perk. 👌

  17. My wife and I cruised on the Triumph 2 months after the infamous "POOP CRUISE". As I told her, Carnival would MAKE SURE that the problems had been taken care of. They would NOT want a repeat because of the massive financial cost and cruisers losing confidence in Carnival.

  18. I just got off the NCL Breakaway 3 hours ago in NOLA and we did the e-muster when we left last week.

  19. I think it is people not completing them. I was just on the Prima and it was e-muster, but like you said, they had to request that people complete them. It’s sooo easy to do, just go to your darn room and just do it.. geesh, those who Dont complete it, are more than likely the same ones who Dont come down in person either..

  20. I'm heading out on Jewel of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) on Saturday (12/2) & I'm hoping it will not be an in person muster drill. I love the E Muster.

  21. If the cruise line requires eMuster, and everyone KNOWS they need to do it.. If you cannot not inconvenience yourself to do it, then they should be invited to leave the ship. Or at 1st port of call and go back home.

  22. How not to get off a cruise ship? Dock in Brooklyn Cruise Port a day early after crossing the Atlantic – a port was cancelled due to Hurricane Fiona. US border control had a zero count policy so everyone had to disembark and go through immigration before anyone was allowed back on. The weather was appalling, no taxis or shuttle buses because we were a day early, no information in the terminal, the ticket machine for the ferry to Manhattan was down. Nothing to do close to the terminal – Mrs G was due a knee replacemnt on return to the UK so limited mobility. It took 5 hours for the process to complete. Most people sat in the terminal waiting to get back on. We all had our ESTA's and proof of vaccination. Is it the same procedure at the Southern border?
