Hey, thanks for this beautiful video, I'm from Tahiti (Raiatea to be more precise), and we're used to coming to the intercontinental every now and then with my mom to leave the city atmosphere and reset for one day or two. Last time we went was in September of this year, we took a overwater bungalow for 2 days and yeah, nothing wrong to say about it, everyone is happy and welcoming, as expected, and it's just wonderful, :D! Thanks again for sharing this with us, this and your The Brando video are from another world, thanks 🙂

The pools, the setting were lovely! Otherwise, fairly underwhelming! Decor stuck in the 70's. Room was quite small. I wish you could've gotten inside one of the over the water bungalows to show us. Food looked so-so, too. Except for the fresh fruit in the morning … that looked very enticing and delicious! The feel of the place was like that of a movie theater lounge! … uff. I don't think 5 star …. or even 4 star!! It's like it can't make up its mind what it wants to be … a destination resort or an airport hotel! Tell me, dear LTE, is Tahiti built up like Oahu?? I've no idea, really … Your music was superb as always! Thank you for all the work you put into these productions!! You are awesome … even if some places you stay aren't quite! 😃 You are so gentlemanly in your assessments of places. Kind soul that you are ….
Very much a "chain" hotel, dated and tatty. As you said the kind of hotel you stay for one night on arrival / departure from the island as its close to the airport. Staff wearing flowery shirts and serving cocktails in coconut shells does not make it "authentic", it just makes it tacky. Nice to see the cook at the breakfast buffet wiping her nose on her hand / wrist and the cooking omelettes with washing her hands!! Much better places to stay when transiting. Thats InterContinental for you.

5 stars? Really? The property grounds and surroundings with views is definitely 5 stars and beautiful, but the room was 3 stars at most and quite small and very dated. I've stayed in better rooms adjacent to interstate highways than that room. As usual your video was fantastic and expertly done.
BORA BORA IS FAR BETTER THIS RESORT IS NOT THE BEST IN TAHATI . IT IS 48 YEARS OF AGE SHOULD BE RIPPED DOWN .
To be honest ; not impressed by this hotel . A regular American hotel found in the US or Hawaii. The Brando, Hilton on Moorea or the Manava Spa Resort have more character and charm. Your in Tahiti and don't want the same as back home! No WOW, factor and too much concrete! just saying!
Stunning outdoors, but is still doesn't look like a 5-star hotel, more outdated lodge look. It lacks the Woww factor for a location like this. Isn't there an Aman or Four Seasons Hotel in Tahiti? I would have been interesting to see any of the water villas from the inside. Great video, Thank you.

unfortunately, the hotel has seen better days long time ago, nothing appealing to fly 24 hours from Europe(((
Friend, you shoot great videos that everyone likes.
But if you accept criticism, then I will allow myself some of it.
If you have such an opportunity – shoot hotels with vacationers – because when you shoot empty hotels – it scares. Some kind of post-apocalypse.
Otherwise, you're the best.

I would also like to walk a few kilometers in the wilderness. After a beautiful forest with beautiful trees, flowers and wild animals. That's my dream when I come on vacation to see as much as possible from the wild country. I have such a dream all over the world for it to be like that.
I have said it before, and I will keep saying it – your videos are totally idyllic. If only I had done things differently.
As always great video. I have stayed at this hotel twice due to flight schedules. Can't say I love it but best option.
Considering this as a one-nighter stay, this is quite fitting for the location you are about to settle into/leave away from. While the room is on the small side, I feel it’s an invitation to get out onto the sprawling outdoor areas and just explore! That view is lovely! French Polynesia is on my bucket list (Bora Bora specifically) so to follow the your holiday from Cali to French Polynesia is worth looking at and not only dreaming, but drawing inspiration to get there. I look forward to the other hotels you hit, as a couple have been on my list as potentials to stay in. Thank you as always for the adventure and I look forward to more! Much love from Texas, USA❤

I hope the day comes when you make a video that never cuts the music. that does not have any annoying ambient sound for those of us who need the image and music for activities such as yoga, mediation, massages, etc. thank you or all your wonderful posts that let me know the world
This was very beautiful, a paradise and very well made. My only concerns are that the room you stayed at was right next to another room and right above another room so I would hope that your neighbors would be courteous and not noisy. The other concern was that I saw near the end at the breakfast restaurant the food preparers were not wearing plastic gloves.
Was there in 2015 and 2017 and truthfully it needed refurbishment – it was expensive for what it offered and not as well orgnanised as expected given it knows when the planes arrive but the views are amazing, the pool fantastic and the food excellent .
Great Hotel for a short stay accomodation. Been there in 2014 and I can highly recommend it.
Hotel flojito, sin arena en la playa y guerrillero. Esto no es lujoso ni exclusivo, en Benidorm los hay mejores. Saludos.
