    Have a baby! Will definitely solve your difficulty to sleep and doesn’t want to wake up in the morning. Cos you will be too tired at night and knock out within seconds. The next morning you will have no choice but jumps out of bed cos your baby’s crying hahhaahah. No need supplement 😂

    Fiona san has a great attitude towards work. I used to fly Singapore Airlines (Narita and LA). The best in the world! The uniform is cute and stylish, but I’m concerned about the fact that they are in sandals. Will they be able to act fast in case of emergency??

    Actually our sg also have our own version of tsukemen. We have Mee Kia or Mee Pok Tar, meaning dry Mee Kia or Mee Pok. The noodle are mixed with sauce and chilli, accompanied by a bowl of soup. Except for ramen, I always ordered the dry version when comes to Wanton Mee or Dumpling Mee.

    Her Japanese is so fluent, it just flows from her mouth without delays when she's answering questions. There's no pause while she tries to recall the Japanese words in her mind. Most people think in their natural language and translate it in their minds to whatever language is required before speaking, but it's like she's thinking in Japanese when she wants to speak in Japanese, and English when she wants to speak in English. So no undue delays in her speech in whichever language she chooses to speak in. Now I'm curious to hear her speak in German.

    Incidentally, I thought the red kebaya was the most senior level? Green, followed by blue, then purple, then red, no? Or is it red before purple?

    This is why I love SQ – cabin crew are just adorable – pretty, smart and genuinely caring. Certainly all the ones I have encountered. I have some stories to share. I flew exclusively business class between Singapore and the UK (when I was visiting home). My little treat to myself as the journey was so amazing. You would think in business class that all the people would be respectable and polite (maybe me being niaive lol), but noooo. One flight, a guy (single aisle seat at window) managed to get paralytic drunk. He wasnt served that much booze, as cabin crew watch for that, so he was sneaking into the duty free purchases. He threw up all over himself, the seat, seat in front of him. He was "escorted" out of business class and i never saw him for the rest of the flight. Cabin crew had to clean up – but they couldnt clean up the smell… ah man (he was directly across the aisle from me). Other "incident" was a guy was slightly drunk when he got on, but was only slightly drunk – he had a lady "friend" who would come and sit on his seat with him (original A380 business class seats were stupid wide – skinny folk can sit two). They had a few drinks together and as it was an overnight flight, the lights were dimmed at one point. Couple start making out in the seat (again across the damn aisle from me). Cabin crew appear and speak quite sternly to them – but leave them be. Antics start again not long after and we are not talking just a bit of kissing here. While it was "entertaining" – I was trying to watch a movie and it was distracting lol. Cabin crew appeared again with the male purser in tow and girl was removed to her own seat. I went to the galley to get a drink later (I hate "summoning" cabin crew, especially on overnight flights, so go and ask for things. Was same cabin crew who dealt with the incident and seemingly they didnt know each other but met in the SQ lounge before the flight and got friendly. Mile high club is customarily in toilets – they didnt get the memo lol. These incidents aside, everything was perfect and it was down to the SQ product but also 100% was the crew being amazing too.

    13:25 Make no apology for your answer. Some people do enjoy their work. Flashy may be a stereotype that is not real. But even without the glamour, a job can still be enjoyable.

    For example, there are people who like sprucing up and looking their best every day. They like meeting different people instead of the same old colleagues and customers and suppliers. They like travelling rather than being in the same country for basically the entire year. They have little difficulty with shift rotation type of sleep pattern. Even without the glamour, it is possible to genuinely enjoy being air crew.
