🇻🇳 Family Travel Vlog 71 | #Saigon, #HoChiMinhCity, #Vietnam Filmed September 28, 2022

Come on a self-guided tour to explore Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam today. Our Family is traveling around the world and sharing it all with you. Today we start at Tao Dan Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Where we let the girls play on the playground before we get the tour started.

I hope the rain holds off for the whole day.

In Ho Chi Minh City, We explore The Independence Palace, also publicly known as the Reunification Convention Hall, and Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon. We try Vietnamese coffee, and we eat some Banh Mi.

After lunch, we headed to the Ho Chi Minh City Post Office or the Saigon Central Post Office. This is a downtown Ho Chi Minh City post office near Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica. Here we send postcards to Mimi, Papaw, Gramma, and Papa!

Next, we head to Ho Chi Minh City Book Street. This trendy bookstore-lined street has many books in many languages and plenty of coffee shops to sit down and enjoy a read while sipping on some of that beautiful Vietnamese coffee.

There’s supposed to be a pretty awesome parade street, Nguyen Hue Street, in Ho Chi Minh City. It’s located right in front of the People’s Committee Building. Ho Chi Minh City Hall, officially called the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Head Office, is the city hall of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Unfortunately, nothing was happening on the street today, but it was still beautiful!

Editors Note: I just looked up Nguyen Hue Street. The markets and activities are only on Saturday and Sunday. Since we went to Nguyen Hue Street on a Wednesday, that may explain why nothing was happening.

Since nothing was happening on Nguyen Hue Street, we made our way to Bến Thành Market. Bến Thành Market is located in the center of Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam, in District 1. The market is one of the earliest surviving structures in Saigon and a symbol of the city. Here we explore and escape some more rain.

The End.
