one of the most beloved streets in Kyoto is the one starting by the huge black Pagoda YASAKA NO TO with nearby Ninenzakka shopping district and the way climbs up to the iconic KIYOMIZU DERA Temple! Stunning in Autumn with red ๐Ÿ๐Ÿleaves it is quite cold outside under 10 Celsius but me & Mariko went dressed up in ๐Ÿ‘˜ silk KIMONO! there are many kimono rental shops and you need to make an appointment in advance and can choose your kimono among many different colors and designs and the stuff will dress you up and eventually also do your hairstyle it is one of the big fun things to do when coming to Japan and especially here in Kyoto most of the visitors walk around in kimonos, even and especially the Japanese Young love-love couples. And we were very lucky to get a stunning sunset at the end from high above the city! the streets around there are full of souvenir shops traditional Japanese crafts and traditional Japanese foods snacks sweets even Japanese crafted coffee and Japanese fashion as well as fashion items and cosmetics everything created by Japanese people hoping to impress the world entire! A definitely must see on your travel list to Japan!!
