Hualien is located on Taiwan’s east coast, about 2 hours by train. It is perfect for getting into creative workflow and being a digital nomad.

  1. 花蓮是我最喜歡的城市之一。 在這段視頻中,我將花蓮評為遠程工作目的地。 你最喜歡台灣的哪個城市?

  2. If I had to choose where to retire in Taiwan, Hualien would be the one. Parts of Hualien make you feel like you’re not in Taiwan. It just looks so much different from the rest of Taiwan. Very good analysis of the topics.I’m going to watch the video again. Savor it.
I also like Taitung. East coast is wild and untouched. I prefer living in that part of Taiwan. Enjoy the video👍

  3. Hualien is a great place, and you make a persuasive argument. However, I can add a couple more drawbacks to living there:
    1. Hualien's location on the east coast means it's more exposed to the typhoons that frequently hit Taiwan compared to Taipei and other cities on the west coast.
    2. The city's close proximity to the eastern side of the Central Mountains means the sun disappears relatively early in the afternoon.

  4. 歡迎你再次回到台灣,我是台北人,30年前曾經在花蓮服役當兵2年,從此就愛上了花蓮,花蓮絕對是我在台灣最愛的城市。
