You get that invigorating Japanese vibe the moment the lion statue of MITSUKOSHI (founded in 1673 by Takatoshi Mitsui, a kimono fabric merchant) welcomes you to a modern building inspired by Japanese tradition and innovation. This is the first time the lion statue, a symbol of the spirit of hospitality that has characterized MITSUKOSHI over the centuries, has been installed outside Japan. The building’s facade is a simple hemp-leaf pattern, developed in collaboration with Torafu Architects and designer Asao Tokolo.
Inside, the monument “Joining Hands,” created based on the image of putting hands together, greets visitors and reflects how this development will serve as a symbolic bridge between the Philippines and Japan.

Metro Manila's development steers only towards the fulfillment of the rich segment. Still has no real developments in the realm of basic urban services or social aspects. I have been watching several urban projects around the globe, and Metro Manila only has malls to brag. for example Hongkong has a new convention center, a new sports center Kai Tak, Singapore has new subway line, Bangkok has new urban public park, etc. All these benefits civic and social life for everyone. Metro Manila jumps to luxury living that targets only a specific segment. Very misleading.
PARANG AIRPORT
Ang laki nman pag gumala Ako mag Isa dyan I'm sure maliligaw Ako🤣🤣
Thank you for this Mitsokosi Video.. Very impressive Mall Japan Style. 🌟
Will surely come here for original Japanese Food.👍
The meat in that expensive Japanese department store is CHEAPER than what I can buy in our 10th class Purefoods in Bato Leyte or even the Metro in Hilongos even though the rent would cost a fortune in Manila copared to Leyte.
