Traveled Thailand twice but they didn't ask for bank balance. They just ask me for return flight and accommodation details
Take more Bahts if you are going to pay there to the Hotel over and above Visa on Arrival Fees as they might ask about that amount also so better carry minimum of 15,000 THB in case of single person.

I had two questions
1. Since I will be travelling to Bangkok with my aged mother, who has just recovered from NHL( cancer) , is there a way to take cabs or tuk tuk via online portals alike in India – Ola Uber. If yes, then what do you suggest. If not then what should I take and how to go about it? I would Also like to ask you is it safe to take my mother there( though the doctors have suggested she is Fit to travel anywhere ).
2. We have 2 brass Laddu Gopals with us. small size. Could we carry them there while we travel? if yes,are there any pre requisitions that I need to fill in and where can I find them.
