I went to One Punggol Hawker Centre, Singapore’s newest Hawker Centre in the North East. It’s the first hawker centre at Punggol and today, I’m going to try 5 stalls and let you know which stall I liked the most. Let’s eat!

What I learned:
– The most popular stall with the longest queue: Eng Kee Chicken Wings
– Popular Bak Chor Mee: No.25 Bak Chor Mee
– My favorite stall I tried today: Hakka Leipopo’s Yong Tau Foo

Which stalls do you recommend? Let me know in the comment section!

  1. Ghib you should come to Telok Blangah hawker. The Lor mee, carrot cake, and mutton biryani are really good.

  2. Crazy to stop building Hawker centres in Sg. More must be built to compete with shopping malls and privately owned kopitiams. That is control ridiculous F & B prices for ave normal sporeans. We don’t need more Starbucks or MacDonalds.

  3. The Lei Cha should be taken with the entire content of macha green tea soup poured over it. Not sprinkled over it or soaked too long with it. Then will you experience the shiokness of the dish! 😉😋🍽

  4. Waste of my time, no many stalls yet opened, and the Q was crazy, worst of all, what i decided to eat was not that nice at all. PS 1 drink stall also not impress me.

  5. Yay!!! I was looking forward to this upload! I was surprised to see you when I was queuing to get the Hokkien mee 😄 I was too shy to say hello 😂 and soon after I got a call from my brother who was also there..he said he got a picture with you and was captured in your video with “Sure, of course”😂! We were so excited to have bumped into you in person! 🥳We enjoy and love all your videos they were all very engaging and interesting to watch with a variety of contents! Keep them coming ! 🥳Your local fans🤗

  6. Thank you for sharing the new Hawker Centre in Punggol. More food choices for those staying in Punggol and Sengkang. 😃

  7. I tried Hi Leskmi Nasi Lemak when I was there for dinner and their chicken wings and otah was really good!!! I love their rice too!!!

  8. Hi Glib, you are right that finally Punggol has a hawker center. I stayed here almost 18 years. Went there a few times. The queue is just too long. Haven't try any stalls yet.

  9. Why not film the hawker stall front similar to Piggypuggy YouTube content creator videos as from a psychological cum marketing point of view, humans remember easily and deeper via visual memory, thus if you film the hawker stalls, people when browsing each stall in the hawker centre/food court will be subliminally influenced by the positive emotions from the hawker stall front they seen before on YouTube to buy to give the stall owner and government money while getting quality food for win-win-win.

  10. Generally pricey over there but I can understand why. The place is new, clean and very modernized. On top of that, inflation. Supplies are also getting more expensive. This is comparative to foodcourt prices.

  11. The "fried fish" in bar chor me is called bian yu, sole fish. Very common in bar chor mee actually. Minced meat in fishball is called fu zhou yu yuan. Meat balls I believe are quite standard ones that you can get from supermarkets haha. And no we won't dip our dry noodles into the soup as it will be like washing all the sauce from the noodles. If you wanted soup with noodles can just order soup version. That's hakka yong tou fu…usually with fish and/or minced meat paste with chestnut and salted fish…very common in KL.

  12. やっぱ食べてる動画すきです🙆🙆🙆
    シンガポール永住権の件、おめでとうございます❣よかったですね❣

  13. Horribly management of this hawker centre. Only one kopi n drink stall with so long bloody Q. Reflecting the efficiency of a good centre. The good nothing great lah but Fernvalve hawker centre better

  14. Are all the food video showing are organic dishes?

Are they encourage to eat organic dishes ?

Base on the price of organic ingredient, the organic dishes are tasteless and no much sweetness.

Should use approved industrial food chemical to enhance the flavor of organic dishes.

Can make more things in the end

  15. If you’ve the time, head to Commonwealth crescent where Eng Kee’s main stall is. There’s a queue but you’ll be served within 5-10 mins.

  16. シンガポールのコロナ感染者数は増加傾向なのでしょうか?。
    新型がシンガポールで見つかったと日本では報道されてます。

  17. The world is huge! I want to see every corner of it! And somehow it's possible if you watch all the travel videos on YouTube!

  18. Not so nice like the older Hawker centres with traditional taste as most are opened by youngsters with new or fusion dishes… Hard to get seats and the queues at food stalls are super crazy! Hopefully the novelty will die down soon and get less crowded!

  19. Thanks for showcasing the new hawker centre.
I don't even consider myself early if I reach any heartland hawker centre at 7.30am… ;P.
The fishball noodles with the flatfish and fuzhou fishballs, those have been around for a long long time. Probably not very common, but definitely traditional ingredients and reason why there is a long queue.

  20. From the video it seems that food prices are high and u can’t get a simple meal below $4.50.

  21. It brings back memories of my last time being around Hawker centre. One thing that I realized is you gotta go there with a big stomach.

  22. Thanks for sharing your vlog for us in Punggol Hawker Centre.
Invite you to come Fernvale Hawker Centre with CC and Gym just open in August 2022. There are a lot more choices like Malay Food, India Food, Chinese Food and Western Food.

  23. Ghib, the dried fish you picked up at 04:13 is what we call "tee poh" in Hokkien – it's dried solefish! Quite a common addition into fish-based stock across various Chinese cuisine here (Teochew style fish soup, BCM soup).

  24. Ridiculously exp and crazy !!! $8 bak chor mee shit to those dreaming of easy earned rich wanabe fuds, IF any idotic people eat that I AM SURE I WILL WORRY FOR THE future of this land run by these people, WHY ???????????????? what is the sense of mathematics ? perception value ? cost calculation ? do u mean all the rental COST passed down to us and we these biz operators JUST reap us having SUPERNORNAL profits ? even our uneducated "ancestors" know what is perception value and stay strong on their choice THE younger HUMAN beings on this land nowadays TOO fud shit goof life or brain wire got tangled, i am sure some of these idots will patronise

  25. Of course sweetness goes with Indian curry!! Many ppl (esp children) dip prata in curry then in sugar. So the sugar sticks on the curry. U must try eating it like that!
