This summer, I visited Sendai, capital city of Miyagi Prefecture and the largest city in the Tohoku Region. During the trip, I made it over to Matsushima Bay, one of “The Three Great Views of Japan.” With good public transit, delicious food, and nice sightseeing places in close proximity, I found Sendai to be a very pleasant place to visit. Next time I will have to do more exploring.
