Malaysia never wish to be a Militarize nations, you may not notice we are surrounded by neighbor who scared on us for nothings. Everything's will take Malaysia as their benchmarks to press us, we are peaceful nations who entire population got their own religion believe, cultures and live in peaceful and harmony, list me any nation in this planet can tolerance like the Malays?. Compare to Singapore the local Malays treated as low class citizen you can't compare that even you want to do it a BIG taboo to uncover their shit under the blanket🤣. Our Military's budgets and GDP won't allowed us to be anything's that is the fact not to mentions we need to pay high salary to our stupid politician . We wish Yankee or Russian drop the nuke on us better not to exist .. ha ha ha
I disagree, we Malaysians are TOO MALAS (Lazy) to fight. Look at our politicians, all they ever fight about is on getting a LOT of KERUSI (chair) in the Parliament.
A detonated Russian nuclear bomb can kill and/or injure approx. 5 mil. people 😲 Imagine what Russia, N.Korea could do with 'active' nuclear warheads that they have now – scary. Definitely, nuclear war is not something that can be won.
Nah , in the foundation of our country we have never invaded anyone, heck even our old malay empires like langkasuka , kedah tua , melaka and even johor has never invaded anyone, we just prefer trading with people and the only fighting we only do is for higher position of power for money so we can be rich and live peacefully. We malays have a saying , you dont bother us we don't bother you .
Developing nuclear weapons is like an invitation to make more enemy. It's better to have more friends than enemies. Plus Malaysia is such a small country with small population compared to its neighbor id, losing a densely populated area and the people due to nuclear war will be devastating not to mention the harm it could cause to the environment (acid rains and radiations are no joke). I don't wanna see/read another nuclear war like Hirosh*ma and Nagasak* just reading it makes my skin crawl in fear of the aftermath. Lets just keep our peace, after all war is a losing game where everybody suffers!

Nuclear Weapons were in developement during the end of WW2 by multiple nations, it were however the US who first used them in combat. Their destructive power as well as the terror they represented also lead scientists to give the technology to other nations as well, as they feared if only one nation has these weapons, they would dominate all others and use them without much concerns.
That being said, have you checked how much the US is spending on weapons and arms development? I think it's more than Russia and China together, plus the US government asked european nations to up their military spendings as well, long before the current situation in Ukraine.
