This time we stayed at MANGA ART HOTEL, TOKYO, which opened in 2019 in the Jimbocho area of Tokyo, where you can enjoy a “manga stay”.
Do you like manga?
My latest favorite is Golden Kamuy.
This concept capsule hotel houses 5,000 works of manga, and the bed space is located in between three-dimensional bookshelves with a white base. It really feels like you are surrounded by manga, and you do not feel cramped at all, which is typical of capsule hotels.
The bed space is either a 100 x 200 cm single type or a 120 x 200 cm semi-double type. There are hangers and a safe in the room, and the door is curtained.
There are also many manga translated into English, which I think are enjoyable enough for foreign residents. It is also nice that it comes with recommended comments (in Japanese & English).
You can pick up a work of your interest from the bookshelf at your leisure and enjoy the manga experience all night long.
