► Meiji Jingu Shrine is a shinto shrine from 1921. It’s located inside Yoyogi-koen park in Harajuku, Tokyo. Its mainbuilding was destroyed during WWII, but rebuilding was completed in 1958. Its considered the most important shinto shrine in Tokyo area.
It’s another(!) of my favorite spots in Tokyo, and it’s a “must-go” if you happen to be travelling to Japan. – Enjoy!

  6. Would Meiji Jingu be considered a Imperial shrine because of the chrysanthemum emblem on the gate and shrine ??? First time seeing shrine maidens at a shrine, nice !!! As always an excellent video, Thomas !!! ^_^
