You may want to TURN THE SOUND OFF: Wind noise it terrible.
This video was shot on the first day of Typhoon Songda May 28th, 2011 at the Kadena-Cho sea wall, Okinawa, Japan around 4pm. Sorry for the sounds quality
@KilluminatiPrincess This is not a freak of nature we get storms like this all the time in Okinawa. This is what happens when you have a very small island in the middle of a large warm ocean. Sorry but it's not a reduction of the population, it's standard seasonal weather.
What was really bad about this one was that we didn't get anywhere the amt of rain we needed. So the salt water deposited on the leaves by the wind turned most leaves brown. Lots of tree damage. This wave action beats the 20 cm tsunami we had, though.
@kaitlyncoombs yup, muifa. ill tell you right now, after a total o 36 hours of guard duty outside for this one and the new one, ive had my fill of this crap
My youngest son was born on Camp Lester a few blocks from here on the day of this typhoon. It was pretty exciting, the wife claims this typhoon is the reason he's so wild lol. I miss Okinawa and I'd move back in a heart beat given the opportunity.
