Join me on this lovely Autumn afternoon for a beautiful relaxing virtual drive to Asahidake, the highest mountain in Hokkaido Prefecture. I start my drive today near Higashikawa, a small town near Asahikawa, a large city in the center of Hokkaido. My drive takes me past the many rice fields in this area and then up to the Chubestu Dam as I wind my way through the beautiful lush forest up to the Visitor Center at Asahidake. This amazing area of Hokkaido is one of the places you must visit when traveling to Japan – don’t miss it!
