Trivia: The temperature was 5 degrees lower than Tokyo in summer and it was such a pleasant day! When I visit Karuizawa, Prince Shopping Plaza had always been my destination and I used to come home right after shopping there. But it was my first time to go over to Kyu Karuizawa and I had a lot of fun! Like I mentioned in the video, Karuizawa is well known as the place where the former emperor met his wife but I didn’t know the legendary tennis court where they met was so close. Many rich people own a resort house there and it’s fully understandable why they do. I wish I had one there too! 😄
