Lake Bled has been at the top of our bucket list for so long… and we’re finally here! This lake in Slovenia is set against the Julian Alps as well as Bled castle, but what makes it so epic is Bled island in the middle. And, lucky for us, Bled is also known for a DELICIOUS dessert known as the Bled Cream Cake 😍It honestly might be the best dessert we’ve ever tasted!

    I couldn't pay attention in the beginning and had to rewind because I was laughing at the tree in the truck. Like "You know what I haven't taken my tree out for a drive in SO long!"

    To be honest cream cakes from Bled are not the best 😁 and they are expensive, but for tourists i guess it is ok? 😅 They are tradicional for Bled, but you can have a better one in ordinary restaurant and not posh restaurants you visited. Did you ever consider to join with a local person and do a tour of a city and local food? I hope you enjoyed my little country 😊

    actually lake bohinj is a pretty popular destination as well! lots of people in the summer, the lake gets warm enough for you to be able to take a swim and it's so adorable and perfect for having a chill day! i'm from slovenia and i enjoy watching these videos so much because they make me fall in love with my country even more. your cheerful and positive attitude is so contagious and i love your videos❤

    You totally missed going out to the island but more importantly you missed tasting POTICA (which is so much better and traditional than cream cake in Slovenia)! The beautiful boats and serene ride to the island is not to be missed! The church is beautiful and it is good luck to ring the church bell! DO NOT miss that part of Lake Bled the next time you go.
