  1. I don't know your reason for making this video but I was missing this area and wanted to see it again and this was the perfect video for that.
    THANK YOU!!!

  2. I miss Yokosuka, I used to walk that path especially on a shore patrol duty, i miss the fried rice at bamiyan and the yakitori stand near the chuo station.

  3. What's with the uniformed US Navy ppl? Are they shore patrol or ar ethey just hanging out in uniform off duty?

  4. Wow I lived here from 2009 to 2011 it’s crazy I was just a kid and now I’m in college but everything in this video looks the same I plan on going back after corona thank you for this video

  5. 横須賀に帰りたいなー。日本が恋しいです。ビデオはありがとうございました!

  6. Thanks for posting I cried watching this 😭 I was stationed there 2011-2014. Ages 19 to 21. I feel like I really came into my womanhood here. I’ll forever cherish the memories. ❤️ I can’t wait to return after Covid restrictions are done

  7. Thank you for the video. I was stationed there back in 1989 and 90 On the USS Reeves. It’s nice to visit back in the town. Looks totally different!

  8. lived in Yokosuka Uwamachi area from 2013-2018. Loved every bit of it. Landed a GS position and will be back soon(;

  9. I was stationed onboard the US MIDWAY back in the '80s & used-to go MOSTLY to Tokyo & Yokohama via the Yokosuka-Chuo & Shiori stations. I ONLY would cruise the base to go to the movies & when I didn't have enough money to travel further.
    I STILL speak & read a lot of Japanese, & was fortunate enough to meet a couple of Black guys (YES, I'M BLACK…) who were stationed there during the Occupation in the '50s & gave me many-MANY stories of the changes there since (To show you the MANY CHANGES: when I was there Blue-Note was a small jazz bar with a huge plate-glass window you could look right into the base across the street; NOW it's (Blue-Note) is a huge expensive touristy place in Aoyama, Tokyo). I remember when the guardhouse were still wooden, & the transition of Club Alliance from the Old Japanese Maritime building across from the Japanese Naval (JMFDF) part of the bay; I was an Asian Studies major in college & I know why that building & the Old Sanno hotel, in Tokyo was SOLD BACK TO THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT FOR HISTORICAL REASONS.
    I TOO MISS MANY OF THE THINGS ABOUT THAT BASE.

  10. 今度、カレー食べに行きますよ!
    所々にいる米軍さんはパトロール?

  11. I love living there in Yokosuka from 1985-1988 when I was stationed aboard the USS Midway.. I used to take the train up the tracks from the Shiori station instead of the JR Yokosuka line, because it's cheaper and a faster way to get to the Tokyo Shinagawa station,

  12. This is as far as I want to ever coming back to this place. Thank you for the walk around. You know you're doing your thing when a drunk sailor says HEY HEY you know who is.. He's a big deal😂😂

  13. 1999 to 2008 USS Kitty Hawk best duty station ever. Miss Yokosuska. Now living in Iwakuni nothing compared to Yoko.

  14. 昔、まだ汐入にサンタナがあった頃、昼飯は「一福」でよく食った🎵懐かしい🎵
