From my trip to Venice last week. A first proper test with my anamorphic adapter. Tried to look everywhere online to see if this combo works, but couldn’t find anyone who tried – so this may be the first test with a Sony FE lens and the SLR Magic anamorphot.
I also used an ND filter 77mm which worked okay, but still difficult to get a clean picture in harsh light.
This combo is probably the lightest and smallest, considering how small the 35mm is to begin with. It works well, and focusing was done automatically. From time to time I forgot to switch the near/normal modes on the adaptor which may have screwed up focusing a little.
All handheld shots, no gimbals / tripods / stabilisers.
