Lake Ashi is a scenic lake in the Hakone area of Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The lake is known for its views of Mt. Fuji, its numerous hot springs, historical sites, and ryokan. However, we did not make our way to watch Mount Fuji this time round, but for those who like to see Mount Fuji, I have made previously two videos on it and are available at my channel, please visit and enjoy.

Most visitors to Lake Ashi stay in one of the hotels or ryokan concentrated on the shore area you see at the beginning of the video. There is also a campsite at the north end of the lake. The abundance of nature makes it popular with hikers. There are many trails with different levels of challenge.

Enjoy the many shades of green and the varieties of trees that capped the numerous mountains around the lake, particularly if you are a plant lover, the plants and trees that flourish around Lake Ashi will not disappoint you. Do immerse yourself in this pirates’ boat trip that glides over the lake’s glittering waters.
