  1. Everybody needs something to get excited about; for you, architecture is what gets your heart pumping. I love looking at old buildings as well, because it’s like a living piece of history.

And I’m like you when it comes to people talking about cars…my husband starts talking to me about cars and my eyes glaze over and whatever he says just changes into ‘blah blah blah’

  2. Hey Shinichi I know this may be a strange request, but could you describe the smells if they stand out please. I think people put too much emphasis on sight alone. Thanks!!

  3. Just do everything you want to do in Hawaii. Life is too short to make choices when it comes to travelling. Jist don't forget to bring us with you and make us drool!

  4. One of my American friends told me that he likes burgers
at Under The Cascade Restaurant in Tachikawa is good.

  5. Hi Shinichi missed the premiere catching up now . Always enjoy your walking 🚶‍♀️ videos . You mentioned watching the videos while being on a treadmill. I use a trainer for my bicycle 🚲 when the weather is bad and usually listen to music 🎵. I will definitely try watching this instead. 😀👍

  6. Totally agree free exercise and see so much more walking shinichi!!! 👍🏻🏃🏼‍♂️
Same I do love the old charm mixed with sleek modern designs!!!! 👌🏼

  7. As a frequent visitor to Akihabara, things started looking very familiar for me around 38:54. I've visited Yanagimori shrine several times but I've never seen it when the trees were in bloom like that. And that spot where you turned around and headed back to the bridge was at Chianti Due, part of Hotel Resol, where I stayed on my last trip there.

  8. I always appreciate the comments on architecture because I take notice of it when I visit Japan. There are so many interesting buildings that you never see elsewhere.

  9. Love the walking videos. Shinichi do you recommend Google maps to get around Tokyo or do you use a different app? Please share.

  10. I'm waiting to visit Japan again ASAP. I'm vaxxed but not boosted because I had some side effects so I hope Japan doesn't require a booster shot.

  11. I love when you talk about and show the architecture because I work in Historic Preservation which is all about preserving old buildings and archaeological sites 🥰

  12. One thing about filming things like this, when you ask “what do you guys think, should I get a soft serve?” there’s no one to tell you no 😆

  13. Hello from Chicago via Hollywood. As a Chicago native, I appreciate and love architecture. Your view and commentary is MUCH MUCH appreciated. Thank you and keep up the good work.

  14. Before my Ms got worse, I was notorious for walking everywhere. I still sometimes hobble along with my cane, instead of taking easier ways, even if my family sometimes think it is too hard on me. I really enjoyed this video vicariously.

  15. Thanks for taking me along on your 20,000 steps. Love when you have the camera facing forward so I can see where we are going, and actually recognize buildings / shops / or just watching the people. Planning on visiting so keep sharing the sites from Hiroshima to Sapporo and more.

  16. My husband and I are huge architecture geeks. Please keep pointing out interesting buildings!

  17. I do enjoy your talking about architecture. When I'm in town I'm always looking up and around at all the amazing buildings–all the different designs, colors, and styles. Yes to the soft serve! When it comes to plate lunch in Hawaii, age no matter! It's a Hawaii thing! So glad you're gonna come see your family soon. Your mom will be so happy! 😀

  18. When you’re able to travel you should go to Prague the architecture of a lot of the buildings are beautiful and just the city in general in amazing 🤩

  19. I want to visit Japan so bad the fact that it is cheaper to fly round trip and stay for ten thirteen days cheaper than traveling in the USA to stay in a halfway safe area

  20. Lovely video Shinichi! I love all of you and Satoshi's videos and they have helped me these past couple years very much. I'm hopefully going to be traveling again soon to visit my fiance in Taiwan soon and hopefully they should open up in the summer. Been rough being apart for 2 1/2 years, but would hopefully love to visit Japan again to as when I go to visit my fiance I will be for 2 months, would be a lovely side trip detour and loved my trip to Japan 3 years ago very much. Best wishes and hope you have a safe and wonderful trip to Hawaii!

  21. Scratched the united states from my list of travel destinations cause of the rampant anti-asian racism.

  22. I am wanting to travel to Japan…. I want to travel in November, Fingers crossed November 2023 I can….. I love when you talk about the beautiful buildings.

  23. I love architecture! I especially enjoy when you talk a little about the history of a place!

  24. Love your videos. I actually booked a Ramen Tour with Frank after watching your guys eat around Tokyo. I will also visit Wayback Burger (Cheesy Burger CRAVING) Thank you for the awesome content and ideas!

  25. I know u guys are here on Oahu, th3 ending part of this video u was talking about places to eat and u mentioned burgers. In Kaimuki a great burger place called Chubbies burgers is the bomb!!! Don't forget the Chubbies fries.

Enjoy your stay with the ohana..

  26. I'm such a introvert but this whole walk looks amazing and would do this everyday 🤗

  27. I'm not bored, I really like talking about buildings. Interesting, what is the original inspiration. Of the designer. And why he chose. To erect the structure is precisely in that aera.

  28. Hi Shinichi, I was so worried financially when blowing our saving to do literally a trip around world in 46 days around the world one summer, and a few more trips after that included spending 6 weeks in Japan. Then the pandemic happened, I thought waw so glad we did it in such freedom. Yes we don’t know what’s gonna happen next.

  29. In your tours I adore architecture, such as those in Rio de Janeiro (Cristo Redentor). There are various selections of architecture, so buildings have meaning to our lives. It's amazing to see cites of buildings in your videos.
