It’s summer vacation here in Japan and I headed to Aomori with my friends Misato and Sat to visit Misato’s family and to go to the Nebuta matsuri. This is the first time since 2019 that it’s been held so we were all excited! This is my first time taking the shinkansen North, so it was cool to see new scenery and of course, eat delicious ekiben.
