Minato-no-mieru-oka or Harbor View Hill is a park overlooking the Harbor in Yokohama. As the name suggests it offers a splendid view not only of the Harbor but also of Bay Bridge, the international cruise ship terminal and the Minato Mirai (Port Future) area in the distance.
If you visit the park in the early summer you can enjoy its beautiful rose garden. There is also a restaurant that turns into a beer garden in the summer.
We visited at twilight on a very humid mid August day so the visibility wasn’t great but even so the view was stunning. Absolutely worth a visit!
