The Hmart/99 Ranch plazas are my moms and my favorite place to hit when we need to stock up on more ingredients and to grab a bite. Right across from each other and loaded with restaurants and good eats.
Plano has a bunch of stuff as well, but it's a bit farther for us to venture to. A Mitsuwa opened there recently and it has a place that sells donuts like the ones you can find at Mister Donut in Asia.
Grand Prairie also isn't too bad. There's a place called Pearl in the Hong Kong Market plaza, that does Dim Sum and is pretty good.

I've been overseas for the last year. I can't wait to get back to Dallas and try some of these places out. I have seen all the Carrollton locations because of my work. I have driven past these hidden gems for years.

I just took a break from binge watching WH13 to check out your youtube video since I knew you moved there and I'm considering moving there as well, sometime end of summer or coming fall of 2022. I need diversity in my life… culture, FOOD! I live in Joplin MO where the only decent asian food are Vietnamese Pho Restaurants. Everything else is americanized 'Chinese' food or loaded with sugar Bimbimbap.

Holy crap when did they get rid of the DMV?! It's been years since ive been in Carrollton. Back in the day it had an iHop and Mexican restaurant on the corner. Now it's MINI Asia. Love it. I miss Texas. Went to TX for a wedding but didn't have a chance to see what all had changed.
