Ask for Kaygana with Hamsi (Anchovies). That's a more authentic dish. Also try the breakfast places near Sürmene. Also the Bafra type round pide with eggs is real good and can be found all around the Black Sea including Georgia, Russia and Ukraine.

Not stuffed cabbage. Wrapping made with sugar beet leaves. It is very common in Anatolian cuisine.
It is a kind of bean that we call kidney bean, which is a type of dried bean in the soup.

greek dolma? dude dolma is turkish word. and dolma is Turkish food. greeks even didnt change name they calling it dolma too.. if u dont belive me check on wiki. almost all greek food cuisines is copy of Turkish food even they using still Turkish names. example dolma, baklava,yogurt, sarma etc.etc. all these names are Turkish word.

Stuffed with grape leafs dolma. Originating from Turkey. Everyone knows it and eats it fondly. Greeks claim to own things like yoghurt, baklava, kadaif and coffee. leaf dolma they added too. Our neighbors are funny and cute.
