Located around the northwestern corner of the Yamanote line, Ikebukuro is one of Tokyo’s many city centers with over million passengers commuting daily via its main station. Stuck between two of Japan’s biggest store franchises Tobu and Seibu, Ikebukuro has many things to offer ranging from nice stores and restaurants to other activities.
While not as popular as Akihabara for example, Ikebukuro is, however, an important hub for the female otaku culture with many “butler cafes” as well as many stores dedicated to the anime, manga and cosplay scenes.

  2. This is awesome, gives the perfect feeling of being there~

I really wish you have the time and resources to shoot similar ones from, let's say, magic hour Kyoto Gion streets or Higashiyama… Or daytime walking in Miyajima. Just giving you ideas. I love all of your videos anyway!

  3. Interesting to see everyone waiting at the crosswalks even when no cars come for quite a while. In Seattle, I just run through traffic haha
