今回は、函館の「大船遺跡」を紹介。

函館市に所在する縄文時代の遺跡で、縄文時代前期後半から中期後半頃に至るまでの
大規模な集落遺跡です。
2021年に「北海道・北東北の縄文遺跡群」として世界文化遺産に登録された。遺跡の周辺は、
当時の環境を再現している「縄文の森」、竪穴住居や盛土遺構を復元している「縄文のにわ」、
南茅部地域の縄文遺跡に関するパネルを展示した「管理棟」などが整備されている。

This time, we will introduce the “Ofune Heritage” in Hakodate.

It is a Jomon period ruin located in Hakodate City, from the latter half of the early Jomon period to the latter half of the middle period.
It is a large-scale settlement ruin.
In 2021, it was registered as a World Cultural Heritage site as “Hokkaido / Northeastern Jomon Sites”. The area around the ruins
“Jomon no Mori” that reproduces the environment at that time, “Jomon no Niwa” that restores the pit-house and the remains of the embankment,
There is a “administrative building” that displays panels related to the Jomon archaeological site in the Minamikayabe area.
