Miyajima Japan | Shrine Island of Deers Onsen Ryokans and Torii Gate



We spent our honeymoon in Miyajima Japan at a traditional Japanese onsen ryokan with the view of famous torii gate, Itsukushima shrine and some cute deers 🙂 The journey from the airport of Hiroshima to Miyajima was 2 hour long, but the the Miyajima ferry ride was quite scenic, and as soon as we stepped on the island, we were welcomed by a hungry group of Miyajima deers 🙂 After feeling the smell of the fresh momiji manju cakes on Omotesando shopping street, we could easily relate with the deers; and luckily we were staying at the most welcoming ryokan of Miyajima, so we were treated with tasty Japanese delicacies right after, but this couldn’t stop us from going for more with the famous oysters of Hiroshima prefecture 🙂 During our stay we also attempted a few fun activities like the boat tour around Miyajima Torii gate and climbing up to Mount Misen with some support from the ropeway 🙂
