Recorded on January 1st 2014 in Dubai, UAE. Stock DJI Phantom 1 With FPV and GoPro Hero 3+. Reached 2,425ft of 2,722ft total height. First attempt ever to scale the entire building from ground level in a quadcopter. One of the most beautiful cities in the world seen from heights never before imagined. Many did not believe when spoken about online so we made this video for all the people out there in doubt. Thanks to DJI, GoPro, Iconic Dokha, and Blu Wireless for making this happen!

  1. It's funny because you can't get "high" in the UAE because it is one of the most oppressive countries in the World. Modern day slavery and no womens' rights…would have been a good vid if you cut the BS and just shot the building.

  2. Would love to live in a building like that, go near the top and put in my 20 watt fm pirate transmitter.

  3. What a bunch of HATERS.?? Give this guy some slack Haters. Show me your video of the tallest building in the world. What floor did you not get to Hater. Not even the first. Likely dont own a drone either, just haatin is all you be boy.

  4. The sad thing is it's people like this that cause stricter regulations on drones. Fortunately nothing bad happened but had there been a malfunction people and or property could have gotten hurt.

  5. can some one please tell me how did they go that high ? he went wayyyyy higher then the 500 m height limit , did the older phantoms have higher limits then the phantom 3 ? some body please tell me

  7. Not the greatest quality but still a pretty cool video! I will probably never get to the top of the Burj Kalifa in person to see the view but this video did a good job of giving me an idea of what the view would be! Thanks for posting this!!!

  8. Cool video but the compression artifacts are awful – I would recompress with higher quality and repost the video

  9. This bad quality made me cry sure i had the phantom 1 too and it is no makable better because today the drones fly only 500meters and in the past they have been unlimited on hights but anyway it looks sooooo old but is only 3 years old
