Disney Animal Kingdom is the final theme park of our Orlando honeymoon vlog series and with a combination of the park, zoo and Disney theming, it was always going to be a hit with us. Disney Animal Kingdom perfectly merges rides and animal attractions with that classic Disney magic which people love.
Animal Kingdom’s roller coaster is Expedition Everest and it is a big ride! Once the most expensive roller coaster in the world, it certainly made it’s way to one of our favourite Disney World roller coaters. It still has strong competition from Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic rewind though.
Animal Kingdom is also home to Pandora: World of Avatar which is one of Disney’s most impressively themed areas. Home to Avatar: Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey which have to be two of Disney’s most impressive rides. There is of course the Shaman of Songs animatronic in the Na’vi River Journey which has to be the most impressive animatronic in Disney World.
Disney Animal Kingdom obviously wouldn’t be Animal Kingdom without animals and so we had to check out the Jungle Trek and Gorilla Falls walking trails as well as the Kilimanjaro Safari. This isn’t just any old zoo, this is a Disney zoo!
