  1. Being a former long-time resident of Key West, I often watch these guide videos, if for no other reason, to get a laugh out of how wrong the vloger usually is about nearly everything. But I have to say, youโ€™ve really nailed it with this video. This is the first time Iโ€™ve EVER seen anyone recommend kayaking the mangroves along Riviera Canal, which is something I would frequently do, as a local, on my days off. The little tidal canals you were in lead to the salt ponds. From there you can kayak up alongside the airport runway and watch the planes come and go. You will also get great views of the old Cold War era missile base. The only thing I would disagree with you about is your reference to the time of year to visit. Though I do not discount your personal experiences, I can tell you that the weather is far more reliable during the rainy season, than it is during the winter. Though there is little precipitation in the winter, the weather can be quite unpredictable, very windy making water sports impossible, and can be way too cold to go swimming. The island is also extremely crowded that time of year. In the rainy season, though it will typically rain at some point during the day, those rain storms are usually very short and intense, but pass very quickly. It is rare to end up in a weather pattern that allows rainy, dreary days for more than a day or two. Thank you for the great video. I enjoyed it very much.

  2. All I want is a hotel room on the beach with a balcony overlooking the water. I just want to sit on the balcony all day and watch. Whereโ€™s the best one ?

  4. Cool video! I like how you share little details about the places you went, like the fountain and garden at Kermitt's no one has ever spoken about before on any of the other videos I've seen! Details made this such an awesome video! Great job!

  5. We just got back from one day trip Florida City- Key West-Miami. In our one day trip to Key West we passed over 42 bridges, including Seven Mile Bridge, and 34 islands as we traveled the scenic Overseas Highway and drove around Key West. We stopped to see Anne's Beach, Sandal Factory outlet and stopped to say "hi" to Big Betsy, giant lobster in Islamorada, ate delicious Pie at Blond Giraffe Key Lime Factory in Tavernier, stopped at the amazing Seven Mile Bridge, we reached the southernmost Point and much more! It was amazing! Thank you for your video!

  7. Whatever you do, do not touch the statute! It is covered with fire coral. You will regret it for several days. Others around you might too if you knock any particles off.
