  1. My Wonder Transatlantic is in 3 days and I'm catching up on all your latest videos since I just got back from another cruise. I'm looking forward to the "new" protocols. I've been sailing NCL since they didn't have a mask requirement – I cancelled 3 Royal cruises last year because of it – but am glad to be back on Royal! My last 2 cruises were nice and uncrowded – 1500 on the 3800-capacity NCL Joy over Thanksgiving and only 800 on the 2000-capacity NCL Sky last week. I hope Wonder isn't packed.

  2. And here we are two weeks after this video, and numbers are going up again. Folks hate restrictions but its clear they are needed. I did two cruises in 1 month. Second cruise had less restrictions. The last day, I got sick.

  3. We just got off of Odyssey of the Seas today and you still have to wait in your stateroom and wait until your number is called. The ship is AMAZING if you haven't been on it yet!

  4. Does anyone have any experience w the Radiance of the Seas out of Vancouver? I’m booked in August & I’m wondering what options I’d have when it comes to excursions. Most excursions listed are $300-$500.00 to have a whale, dogsled or bear “encounter”… I’d like to know if there any fun activities that don’t cost as much as the cabin I booked. There should be local companies that don’t charge an arm & a leg to see a bit of Alaska…any ideas?

  5. I’m going to Harmony in less than 3 weeks and I’m happy that self service is back but sad that the ship is gonna be 100% full

  6. I think this is awesome to see. I will be Sailing on Liberty of the Seas on July 31st and I cant wait. that being said, I was a crew member on board Liberty of the Seas in 2015 and can honestly say that these changes will actually be a good thing to assist the staff in some ways. it was a toss up when it came to having more duties but fewer passengers. fewer passengers meant less needed to be done per job, things like cooking or cleaning staff. However it meant that due to the restrictions, there were more jobs needing to be done daily like serving in the buffet. The down side to this means that you may be doing something as a crew member that was not really normally part of your job description, but it means your still working. Now that things are returning to normal, you will start to see the crews back to their normal routines

  7. I'm so sad that we can't wait in our rooms (the access to the last second potty check was *chefs kiss*)but I obviously understand it. And maybe it will help me be better about actually grabbing breakfast before heading off the ship.

  8. Your vacation starts at the pier. For God's sake get a passport and get your children passports. Yes, you can sail with other documents, but it slows you and everyone behind you down. Fully complete your online check in. Upload pictures and required documents. Print every document you can, do not rely on your phone. Put your vaccination card in your passport and have your test results in hand. We want to get you from car to bar n 10 minutes, but it's up to you.

  9. What does RCCL consider fully vaccinated? My hubby and I have had Pfizer stab 1 and 2, but have not had a booster shot(and don't want to have to get one). Our cruise isn't until early December 2022, so we're hoping things continue to get back to normal. Will I have to get a booster to cruise?

  10. If cruise ships were "limiting numbers", why did they have "lower than ever tarifs"? Nah… cruisers were simply NOT booking! Unlike now that they are "jumping onboard"…

  11. Went on the transatlantic cruise on the Wonder of the seas and tested positive for covid-19 on the last day. Royal Caribbean paid for our quarantine in Barcelona and our airfare home.

  12. Hello people who run Royal Caribbean cruise lines. Here is an idea for you. Have a little store on every one of your ships that is like a drug store. I have been on 5 cruises and none of the cruise ships had this: A shop where the passengers can buy the following: cheap watches, tums, vitamins … everything that is sold in a drug store. On my last cruise I was like, my kingdom for a bottle of tums, G0 — stuff like that. You can mark the price up wildly. You have to realize the people's diets change when they go on a cruise and gastric distress is a problem, especially for us older folks — who have the money go on these cruises. Get rid of the 5,000 diamonds and replace them with Tums, toothbrushes etc. If you forget to take them on the cruise you are outta luck. Just a thought.

  13. Just seeing this – we’re on Vision end of June from Barcelona and a few of our party are Irish whiskey aficionados. Since they only offer one Irish brand it could be a problem…

  14. Does fully vaccinated against Covid-19 include getting the booster shots in addition to the 2 vaccine shots?

  15. I am not happy about self service in the buffet on RCCL. Why can't they continue having the staff serve you. I don't think I will be eating in the Windjammer any more.

  16. It was kinda challenging to understand what you were saying i had to slow the video down to .5x lol. Thanks for the video tho!!!

  17. Just subscribed! Thanks for the information! Can you tell me if they still have "Dancing in the Street" and the parade down the promenade? Thanks!

  18. Used to cruise a lot. Thanks for the video
No intentions of sailing with any restrictions.

  19. Can’t wait until October for my first Royal Caribbean cruise on Explorer of the Seas! ❤️

  20. I am hoping that Royal Caribbean not to change or still impose wearing mask in the buffet areas to maintain the cleanliness of the food.

  21. I don't like the fact that people get to touch the foods at the buffet. I liked being served the foods so there's less chances of contamination.
