How we spent our free time in St Helier, by the Steam Clock, the Fruit and Flower Market and the Fish Market. Finally Val enjoys another cup of Latte Coffee as a farewell to the Channel Island of Jersey.

  2. Great series thank you. You have done a lot of work here editing and uploading. Well done
We went there in our car a few years ago but did not see as much as you.
    Liked that Citroen catering van
Liked the old Victorian post box in the market. Bit like the one you featured in Weston Super Mare, near Grand Atlantic. Also the mussels priced as £1.95 a lb. Would expect many people younger than us would not understand this.
At least 30 years ago I found a wallet in St Helier and being in the know i took it to police station. Knew where it was, I watched Bergerac, and when I went thourgh the doorway he entered into police station near main post office, I found he went in and out of library. I suppose police would not have wanted him and film crews under their feet.
Good to see old market buildings still in use.

  3. Remember fondly the old green Jersey Motor Transport buses.
Some were pretty old and still in daily service.

  4. Enjoyable trip. The Mayfair should thank you for the free advertisement! It's being seen in the middle of America.
