DIRECTOR’S NOTES:

Hey! Antoine Janssens here. Since I was a kid I’ve been fascinated by the wildlife around us. I watch a lot of wildlife documentaries and the beauty that they display still shocks me all the time.

The vision that I have about this sensitive topic is quite simple:
« Look at the beauty of this animal evolving in the wild. We must protect it if we want our children to see it the way we do. »

People protect what they love.

The goal of this movie is to show the beauty of the Okavango Delta and the magnificence of these species living their best life in the wild. And honestly, it’s also good to see a place where humans don’t have control over it.

I hope this movie will touch you deep in your heart (or just a little bit it’s quite ok 🙂). Let me know what you think in the comments, I’ll be there!

And finally THANK YOU VERY MUCH @Beautifuldestinations for making this possible!

  1. Breathtakingly beautiful!!! Is there an extended version or is this trailer the sum of it? One day I pray the Lord bless me with the opportunity to visit Botswana, Namibia, and Lesotgo. I too grew up watching national geographic with my daddy which helped to cultivate a love for the land that God entrusted us with.

I love that because this place is untamed, desolate yet alive, dry yet plentiful they can not touch it because they have not been given the capability to control it.

I've noticed that everything we find in its raw beautiful state we immediately rush to turn it into a money grubbing concrete jungle.

Y'all are truly blessed to have access to such an amazing place…in 2020 it was only by God's favor I was able to obtain a passport for not only myself but my son as well. #oneday

  2. Awesome work Antoine Janssens. We agree with the humble, but urgent request to take hands and protect wildlife. By doing so we also protect local communities and in return protect more of nature and the wildlife within it.

  3. And now RECONAFRICA is putting this all in danger of being destroyed for the $ from gas and oil drilling. People, speak up now or become part of those who may destroy it !!

  4. Our county is so beautiful. Despite COVID-19 situation, we hope safari would back again

  5. There is no other place on Earth where you can find such biodiversity as in the Okavango Delta.

  6. Congratulations for your national holiday on 30th September Botswana from your friends in Germany <3 Botswana is a beaufitul country with nice landscape, charming people and such a nice culture. I´m really proud to call you our friends. Best wishes for the future from your friends in Germany <3

  7. 2:16 That is definitely Masai Mara in Kenya during the great migration. You can spot as much as 180 vehicle packed with tourists each wanting a glimpse of the millions of wilderbeests crossing from Serengeti to Masai Mara.
