Kid in a convenience store is definitely the right term for any one in a korean convenience store! These corndogs are def one of my favourite 👍🏻👍🏻
We do have local snacks like the anchovies and almond here in Malaysia but we usually paired the anchovies with peanuts and coated it with chillie powder or chillie paste with some sugar and salt. The one that you ate looks appetizing too tho.
But you still haven't been to Penang a very important ex-British crown colony with a long history and culture.

I remember the popping candy in the late 70's, I am sure it was called Moon Rocks or Moon Dust or maybe the rock one was large chunks but it sure went off with a pop. My Brother and I put a piece in the cats mouth from memory and it went Psycho. I like Anchovies, by the way have you ever had that rotten stinky fish surströmming?
