“Naminoue Beach” is the only beach in Naha City and that is the part of “Naha Beach Resort”.
It’s an artificial white sand beach, not so big, but close to downtown.
Although this name plate is written as Asahigaoka Park, this is the front entrance to Naminoue Beach.

This is the only beach in Naha City, the capital of Okinawa Prefecture.
Although it is a free beach, there is a jellyfish invasion prevention net, and there are lifeguards during the summer swimming period (April to the end of October).
Various Beach goods can be rented at this beach house, and that also function as a store.
Free toilets and coin showers (100 yen for 3 minutes).
Follow this pathway and you will see a staircase leading up to Naminoue Shrine.
Next to the shower room, there are kitchen cars like this often sell shaved ice, beer, and light meals.
