Ten year old Sam describes himself as “a little thug from Otara”. He spends his time; “stealing bikes, drinking”, although he has given up smoking. It’s estimated there are 2,000 young gang members in Auckland. The problem has become so serious that some politicians are calling for all gangs to be banned.
“We should be simply outlawing them and making it illegal for anyone to be a member of a named gang”. But criminologist Greg Newbold believes this; “could never, ever succeed”. While political debate rages, some youth workers are taking matters into their own hands. They drive around the gang hotspots trying to befriend the vulnerable kids.

What a bunch of low life parasites, I have no sympathy for them. And the police just turn a blind eye. This isn't the New Zealand I grew up in. My childhood was filled with poverty and abuse but no way would I have dreamt of doing these things. Shameful. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Yet here in the central Auckland suburbs of Ponsonby and Grey Lynn. Pedophes and deviants are directly responsible for the rise in child sex offences and attempted 'hit and runs' on elderly and young children – while claiming a false sense of white superiority.
Society and the Justice system failed. Sure the streets were quiet for a time but one decade later these kids have graduated to a MC.

What's the obsession NZ has with American culture. From their raps to the way they talk they all copy the American gangsters. Calling each other "Homies" 😅 homie is a Mexican thing nothing to do with NZ. It's all copy cat they don't have their own culture. Americans wouldn't even know where NZ is 😂😂
